Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of agentic AI solutions within enterprise environments. You will lead technical delivery, mentor engineers, and define engineering standards for large-scale deployments, working with a Deployment Strategist to shape AI strategy and drive adoption.

You will design and deploy agentic systems on the Agentforce platform, own data pipelines, and resolve complex production challenges.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering or delivery experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Expert in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• Experience integrating LLMs into production and applying prompt engineering.
• Strong data modeling and analytics with Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Salesforce platform expertise: Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end build and deployment of agentic AI solutions for Salesforce's most strategic customers.
• Design and ship agentic systems on the Agentforce platform: agent logic, tool calls, multi-agent orchestration, guardrails, and integration patterns.
• Own the data lifecycle: model design, pipelines, and data readiness for AI apps across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer platforms.
• Resolve blockers: data integration failures, model deployment issues, orchestration breakdowns, performance regressions.
• Build and maintain agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting across engagements.
• Develop proofs-of-concept and MVPs quickly, with sound judgment on what to defer.
• Codify learnings into patterns and reusable assets for the org.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
• Provide technical depth on high-risk deployments when senior judgment is needed.
• Surface field insights to Product and Engineering for Agentforce roadmap.
• Collaborate with Deployment Strategist to translate business challenges into deployed agentic solutions.
