Lam Research Corporation in Meylan, France, is seeking a Field Software / Service Engineer 4 to act as the software expert within our Field Service team. You will install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues on Lam equipment at customer sites, while guiding cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.

In this role you will drive project planning, coordinate testing, manage customer meetings, and contribute to continuous improvement plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, Software or related field with 8+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years.
Experience in semiconductor capital equipment industry is advantageous.
Strong written and verbal communication in English; French preferred.
Travel may be required to support multiple customers.
Project management and analytical/problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsabilités

Drive projects planning and execution for mid/long term initiatives.
Coordinate software installation, upgrades and troubleshooting at customer sites.
Provide training and mentoring to Field Service Engineers on software topics.
Engage with customers to ensure successful integration of Lam equipment into automation environments.
Identify improvement opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and productivity.
