Lam Research in Meylan, France, seeks a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site repair, maintenance, and installation/relocation of Lam’s complex semiconductor equipment at customer sites.

You will diagnose issues, perform troubleshooting, and stay current on equipment through training and certification, collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure uptime and satisfaction. Travel and shared shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years experience.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; ability to work various shifts and overtime if needed.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site repair, maintenance, installation/relocation start-up services for Lam equipment at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to isolate issues and minimize downtime.
• Stay current on semiconductor capital equipment— Lam products, training, and certifications.
• Assist in field updates and maintain records coordinating activities with Lam and customers.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and prepare customer response action plans to support needs.
• Discuss opportunities and challenges with customers to build trust.
• Provide technical instruction and mentoring for junior engineers.
