Lam Research in Grenoble, France is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site repair, maintenance, and installation/start-up of semiconductor equipment. You will diagnose complex issues, work in cleanrooms, and travel as needed to customer sites.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master’s in Electronics/Engineering with 5+ years of field service experience, strong problem-solving skills, and fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Engineering; 5+ years of field service experience
• Experience with installation, maintenance, repair or troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally; cleanroom environment experience and PPE familiarity

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site repair, maintenance, and installation/start-up services of Lam’s complex systems
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and isolate issues to the component level with corrective actions to minimize downtime
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate activities between Lam and customers
• Maintain records and reports; travel as required
