Lam Research Corporation in Meylan, France, is seeking a Field Software / Service Engineer 4 to provide on-site software support, including installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and customer training. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and ensure seamless automation in customer environments.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in electronics/engineering or a Master’s with 6+ years, plus strong project management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, Software or related field and 8+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 6+ years; or equivalent work experience.
• Previous semiconductor capital equipment industry is an advantage.
• Report systems installation performances through targeted KPI.
• Travel may be required and support to multiple customers as needed.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site software installation, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate CIP and improvement axes to enhance Lam equipment reliability and productivity.
• Develop and apply technical solutions to complex problems.
• Coordinate activity, guide tests, and issue reports.
• Plan and execute mid- to long-term projects and monitor progress.
• Set priorities and recommendations for customer projects.
• Train Field Service Engineers on software specifics.
• Manage customer satisfaction through KPI monitoring.
• Direct customer interactions and meetings; uphold Lam’s image.
