Consensio Chalets Ltd. is seeking a Senior Chalet Host in Val-d’Isère, Courchevel or Méribel to deliver a 5‑star guest experience with front‑of‑house and housekeeping duties. You will work a range of shifts within a collaborative team, ensuring exceptional hospitality and personalised service.

You will manage breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening service, while maintaining high housekeeping standards, safety, and guest communication. Accommodation and meals are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• EU passport or French Carte de Séjour
• Full driving licence held for at least 2 years
• Over 21 years old for vehicle insurance purposes

Responsabilités

• Breakfast Service: set up dining area, greet guests, take orders for hot food and beverages.
• Afternoon Tea: present a light meal with one sweet and one savoury item plus drinks on request.
• Evening Service: deliver a formal dining experience with canapés, chef‑designed menus and wine pairings.
• Housekeeping: weekly changeover clean, daily housekeeping for guest areas, back‑of‑house cleanliness, evening turndown, mentor staff as needed.
• Guest Communication: proactively address queries and fulfill special requests promptly.
• Chalet Maintenance: identify and report maintenance issues to the chalet manager.
• Health & Safety: uphold hygiene and safety standards per company policy.
• Supplier Relations: support relationships with local suppliers.
• Driving Duties: provide in‑resort driving service when required.
• Environmental Responsibility: support Consensio’s sustainability initiatives.

We are pleased to offer Senior Chalet Host positions across our Ultimate Catered Chalets in Val d’Isère, Courchevel, and Méribel.

Role Overview

This is a dynamic and hands‑on position, supporting the Chalet Manager and wider team in delivering an exceptional 5-star guest experience. The primary focus is on outstanding customer service, with the key aim of providing world‑class hospitality and creating unforgettable moments for every guest.

As a Senior Chalet Host, you will take responsibility for both front‑of‑house duties and housekeeping services. This is a highly rewarding role involving frequent interaction with both guests and team members. You will work a variety of shifts as part of a collaborative team, covering the full range of services outlined below.

Main Responsibilities

• Breakfast Service: Preparing the dining area, warmly welcoming and seating guests, and taking orders for hot food and beverages.
• Afternoon Tea: Presenting a light meal comprising one sweet and one savoury item, accompanied by drinks as requested by guests.
• Evening Service: Delivering a formal dining experience, including canapés, a bespoke chef‑designed menu tailored to guests’ preferences, and expertly paired wines.
• Housekeeping:
• Conducting a thorough weekly changeover clean of the entire property and a midweek linen change.
• Providing daily housekeeping for all guest areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, ski room, living areas and the spa area.
• Ensuring the back‑of‑house and laundry areas remain clean, well‑organised, and efficient.
• Daily evening turndown service (Ultimate Chalets only).
• Monitoring housekeeping standards and providing mentoring or retraining to colleagues where necessary.
• Guest Communication: Proactively engaging with guests to address queries and fulfil special requests promptly.
• Chalet Maintenance: Identifying and reporting maintenance issues accurately and in a timely manner to the chalet manager.
• Health & Safety: Upholding hygiene and safety standards in accordance with company policies.
• Supplier Relations: Supporting and enhancing relationships with local suppliers where appropriate.
• Driving Duties: Providing the in‑resort driving service for guests as needed.
• Environmental Responsibility: Demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability and actively supporting Consensio’s environmental initiatives.
