Job summary

Jobgether, partnering with a France-based team, seeks a Senior Software Engineer (C++/Go) for remote-first work on cybersecurity and web infrastructure. You will design high-performance components, develop Nginx/Apache integrations, extend open-source libraries, and use Go, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD to deliver robust security products.

Requirements: 10+ years of C/C++ experience, deep systems and network programming, strong problem-solving, and cross-language

Qualifications

• 10+ years of C/C++ experience
• Deep expertise in low-level programming, systems development, and network programming
• Experience with web security concepts and protecting apps/services
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and system design skills
• Familiarity with web server architectures and library integrations
• Go knowledge is a strong advantage, especially across languages

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C/C++ software components for web security and networking
• Develop integration modules for Nginx and Apache
• Extend and optimize open-source libraries and tools
• Implement features in a C++ bot detection engine
• Collaborate on architecture decisions and evaluate new technologies
• Own the full SDLC from design to deployment and ongoing optimization
• Work across broader infra stack including Go, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD
