Jobgether is seeking a Senior PHP Engineer based in France for a remote-first cybersecurity engineering team. You will develop PHP integrations connecting security solutions with hosting control panels, CMS like WordPress, and customer portals.

You will own plugins and interfaces, work with Docker, Git, and CI/CD, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver secure, scalable software while continually learning new technologies.

Competenze

• 4+ years of professional PHP software development experience.
• Solid understanding of how the World Wide Web works (HTTP, web apps, client-server).
• Practical knowledge of web security principles and protecting online apps and services.
• Experience developing integrations, plugins, or extensions for web platforms or hosting control panels is highly relevant.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, XML, and regular expressions.
• Experience with Git and Docker; understanding of modern software development workflows.
• Ability to think beyond features to scalability, availability, and performance.
• Strong collaboration and asynchronous communication in a remote environment.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies.
• Previous hosting industry experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of C++ or Go is a strong plus for broader security integrations.

Mansioni

• Develop, integrate, and maintain PHP modules, extensions, and plugins for hosting control panels (cpanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin).
• Build integrations for WordPress and other CMS platforms ensuring reliability and security.
• Design interfaces for hosting panels and customer portals using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Support customers and internal teams with custom PHP-based portals.
• Create lightweight background apps in a containerized infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PHP components with security products.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Apply web security best practices to protect apps and services.
• Address scalability, availability, performance, and reliability challenges.
• Utilize Git, Docker, SQL, XML, regex, and CI/CD tools; participate in technical discussions.
• Continuously expand technical expertise and share knowledge across the org.
