Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, seeks an Engineering Tech Lead (Product Security) in France to lead the secure development of Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure. This remote-first team writes production Go code and carries out threat modeling, penetration testing, and secure design reviews.

You will own security practices across the software lifecycle, guide engineers, remediate vulnerabilities, and clearly communicate risks to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on penetration testing of production products and infrastructure.
• Deep Kubernetes security expertise, including container isolation and RBAC.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes internals and components.
• Proficiency in Go and production-grade software development.
• Experience with threat modeling and secure system design.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in Kubernetes environments.
• Lead vulnerability triage, remediation planning, and patch verification.
• Review features and designs early to mitigate security risks.
• Analyze Kubernetes attack surfaces and harden API server, RBAC, and controllers.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate secure development practices.
• Contribute production Go code while ensuring security and reliability.
