Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a senior Platform Security Engineer based in France to strengthen cloud security, platform reliability, and secure engineering practices in a fully remote European environment.

You will design and implement secure-by-default workflows, work across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD security, identity management, observability, and disaster recovery, collaborating with engineers to embed security into daily workflows without sacrificing delivery speed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ownership of platform security in production cloud environments.
• Strong cloud security fundamentals including IAM, SSO/OIDC, secrets management, and least-privilege access.
• Solid platform engineering experience across IaC, CI/CD, security automation, and observability.
• Proven experience operating Kubernetes in production with workload security and access controls.
• Practical knowledge of cloud networking and edge technologies (VPC, DNS, TLS, load balancing, CDNs, WAF).
• Experience with reliability engineering: SLOs, on-call, incident coordination, postmortems.
• Hands-on design and testing of backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Product-oriented approach focusing on developer experience, adoption, and measurable outcomes.
• Ability to write and review code to diagnose and resolve problems.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate engineering tasks and integration into workflows.
• Fluent English, strong remote collaboration capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own production security improvements and contribute to platform roadmap.
• Design secure-by-default workflows for production operations with auditable access.
• Strengthen cloud security including IAM, SSO/OIDC, secrets management.
• Secure and operate production Kubernetes environments with workload security.
• Integrate security checks into CI/CD to catch vulnerabilities early.
• Improve IaC practices, developer tooling, and guardrails for secure workflows.
• Manage cloud networking and edge protections (VPCs, DNS, TLS, WAF).
• Define security priorities, incident workflows, and post-incident reviews.
• Improve platform reliability via SLOs, observability, and on-call practices.
• Design and test backup/DR procedures for business continuity.
• Lead resilience exercises and recovery playbooks.
• Leverage AI-enabled tooling to accelerate platform tasks.
