Deel is seeking a Senior Payroll Associate to own payroll processing for Belgium employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance across payroll data, records, and filings. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and support employees with payroll questions.

The ideal candidate has a 3+ years payroll experience, strong knowledge of Belgium regulations, and fluency in English and either Dutch or French.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of experience in payroll or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Belgium payroll laws and regulations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong proficiency in English, Dutch or French.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the processing of payroll data for Belgium employees
• Maintain accurate employee records
• Verify and reconcile employee data, including salaries, hours worked, and deductions
• Assist with payroll tax calculations and filings
• Provide support to employees for payroll-related questions and issues
• Ensure compliance with Belgium payroll laws and regulations
• Lead the implementation of new payroll processes and systems
