Mistral is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to design and deliver production-grade AI systems across departments. You will translate business needs into scalable solutions, lead technically while contributing as an IC, and drive adoption and ROI.

You will work with Python/FastAPI, React, and modern GenAI use cases to build impactful, observable data-driven products. You will own architecture, ship end-to-end solutions, and collaborate across product, engineering, and business teams to maximize

Qualifikationen

• At least 3 years building and deploying production AI software.
• Strong full-stack engineer: Python/TypeScript, scalable backends (FastAPI/Node), and frontend (React/Vue).
• Hands-on with modern GenAI use cases: RAG, agents, workflows, orchestration and evaluation.
• Strong command of vibe-coding tools, and care for clean code and architecture.
• Strong ownership and a bias for delivery for high-velocity engineers.
• Fluent in AI-native tools (Slack, Linear, etc.).
• Excellent communication in fluent English.

Aufgaben

• Run discovery with department heads and key users, map workflows and define use-cases.
• Design and ship production-grade full-stack apps with Python/FastAPI and React.
• Encode KPIs and ROI metrics in durable data assets and app logic.
• Internally evaluate latest Mistral products and feed back to roadmap.
• Own scalable, secure, observable architecture with clean code.
• Identify patterns across departments and convert to reusable blocks.
