Mistral is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to lead production-grade AI systems, bridging product, engineering and business. You will design, build and deploy full-stack apps (Python, FastAPI, React/Vue) while turning complex requirements into scalable, ROI-focused solutions across departments.

You will collaborate with department heads to turn needs into prioritized use-cases, ship end-to-end AI systems, and ensure data-driven metrics accompany every delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years building and deploying production AI software.
• Strong full-stack engineer: Python/TypeScript, scalable backends (FastAPI/Node), and frontend (React/Vue).
• Experience with AI-native tools and delivering high ROI solutions.

Responsabilités

• Run discovery with department heads to map workflows and define prioritized use-cases.
• Design and ship production-grade full-stack apps (Python/FastAPI, React) end-to-end from scoping to deployment.
• Encode KPIs and ROI as durable data assets and application logic.
• Own scalable, secure, observable architecture and drive adoption.
