Mistral AI is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to lead the design and delivery of production-grade AI systems. You will work at the intersection of product, engineering, and business to turn advanced technology into real-world, measurable outcomes.

You will build end-to-end AI-powered applications using Python/FastAPI and React, define data-driven KPIs, and ensure the solutions are scalable, secure, and observable across departments. English fluency and hands-on GenAI experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and deploying production AI software.
• Experience delivering full-stack AI-powered applications.
• Fluent in English and able to explain complex ideas to diverse audiences.

Responsabilités

• Run discovery with department heads and key users to map workflows and prioritize use-cases.
• Deliver end-to-end: design and ship production-grade full-stack apps (Python/FastAPI, React) and AI systems.
• Encode business rules, KPIs and ROI metrics as durable data assets and app logic.
• Dogfood the latest Mistral products as an internal user and translate learnings into product feedback.
• Own architecture for your surface: ensure scalability, security, and observable systems.
• Spot patterns across departments and lift one-off solutions into reusable building blocks.
