Back Market, based in Paris, is hiring for a senior AI/ML leader to design, build, and scale AI-driven solutions for our Care AI team. You’ll own end-to-end ML projects, deploy GenAI features, and improve agent efficiency and customer sentiment detection.

You will mentor data scientists and engineers, partner with product and engineering, and push AI best practices across the organization in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/master’s or PhD in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Sciences, Engineering).
• 6+ years of industry experience in data science or related fields with leadership track.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and Generative AI APIs.
• Strong Python skills and software engineering fundamentals (testing, code reviews, deployment).

Responsabilités

• Identify AI opportunities end-to-end, define problems, and drive production rollout with stakeholders.
• Develop, productionise, and operate ML models and GenAI applications at scale.
• Promote AI best practices and share work internally to raise awareness of AI capabilities.
• Present progress to technical, engineering and product stakeholders to drive AI adoption.
