AXA Group Operations in Paris is seeking an AI Engineering Lead to shape and scale GenAI capabilities across AXA entities. You will design production-grade AI solutions, mentor engineers, and partner with business leaders to translate strategic priorities into measurable AI value.

You will guide evaluation, observability, performance, and cost governance while ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant AI applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering AI/ML-enabled products or AI platforms in production environments.
• Experience with GenAI evaluation, observability, reliability, or cost optimisation.
• Leadership experience managing engineering or cross-functional teams.
• Understanding AI operational drivers: quality, latency, cost, safety, privacy, business value.
• Experience in insurance/financial services is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead design, delivery, and continuous improvement of production-grade AI and GenAI solutions.
• Mentor AI engineers and guide cross-functional teams across AXA entities.
• Define reusable patterns, guardrails and best practices for scalable, secure AI systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, platform teams and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Drive governance, cost efficiency, safety and lifecycle management of AI capabilities.
