Mirakl is seeking a Senior Agent Builder to design and scale AI systems powering next-gen agentic commerce. You will operate at the intersection of software engineering, ML and Generative AI to build production AI products used by Mirakl customers and internal teams.

This freelance position is based in Paris or Bordeaux, with one remote day per week. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI capabilities and ensure reliability and security across the stack.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, ML Engineering, Applied AI, or related fields.
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience building production AI systems using LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents.
• Experience designing multi-step agentic workflows and retrieval systems.
• Experience evaluating AI systems and improving model performance.
• Experience deploying and operating production services in cloud environments.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Curiosity, pragmatism, and passion for building AI products.

Mansioni

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems for internal Mirakl operations.
• Develop solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Multimodal AI and Evaluation frameworks.
• Architect complex agentic workflows including tools, memory, retrieval, planning, and guardrails.
• Rapidly prototype new capabilities and evolve them into scalable, reliable AI production systems.
• Connect AI systems to internal platforms, business applications, and data sources across the company.
