Job summary

Mirakl, a global leader in marketplace technology, seeks a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and scale AI-native products and agentic systems for internal and client use. You will operate at the intersection of software engineering, ML, and Generative AI, delivering production-ready AI capabilities within a hybrid Paris/Bordeaux setting with weekly remote work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, ML Engineering, Applied AI, or related fields.
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience building production AI systems using LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents.
• Experience designing multi-step agentic workflows and retrieval systems.
• Experience evaluating AI systems and improving model performance.
• Experience deploying and operating production services in cloud environments.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Curiosity, pragmatism, and passion for building AI products.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems for internal Mirakl operations.
• Leverage LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Multimodal AI and Evaluation frameworks.
• Architect complex agentic workflows including tools, memory, retrieval, planning, and guardrails.
• Rapidly prototype new capabilities and evolve them into scalable, reliable AI production systems.
• Connect AI systems to internal platforms and data sources across the company.
• Enable AI agents to interact with CRM, data platform, Drive, Jira and knowledge bases.
• Design robust orchestration layers between models, APIs, tools, retrieval systems, and business workflows.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and maintainability across the AI stack.
