IXO is seeking a remote researcher to develop and verify information tasks across real-world topics. You will write research prompts, supporting content, and reference responses, ensuring accuracy and clear documentation.

Fluent English, strong writing, independent research, and close attention to detail are required. Availability for 10–20 hours per week on a flexible schedule; pay is $20/hr USD, with scope defined before work begins.

Your work at IXO
Develop research challenges for IXO that require an autonomous system to find and verify information across real-world topics. You will create clear tasks and document the evidence needed to assess a response.

• Revise the task so it tests meaningful research ability and has an assessable result.

Required experience and preparation

Fluent English, strong writing, independent research ability and close attention to detail are required. You should be available for 10–20 hours per week on a flexible schedule and able to verify information from authoritative sources.

Preferred experience

• Useful specialties include sports statistics and league data, patent databases and citation research, academic programs and admissions, and business or competitive research. Apply the topic knowledge you can substantiate rather than claiming expertise in every field.

Deliverables and engagement

Deliverables are research scenarios, supported reference content and granular evaluation findings. Work is remote and asynchronous within the agreed assignment window.

Pay is $20/hr in USD. IXO will agree the scope, deliverables and schedule before work begins.
