IXO Labs seeks researchers to craft original questions that push AI reasoning at the frontier of knowledge. You will create multi-step problems, verify answers with primary sources, and document a clear reasoning trail. This is a remote role with task-based compensation.

A completed PhD, doctoral candidacy, or equivalent expertise is preferred, along with a strong scholarly record and ability to reference primary literature. Prior AI evaluation experience is optional but helpful.

Qualifications

• Completed PhD or current doctoral candidacy, or equivalent senior research experience.
• Familiarity with primary literature and ability to verify claims across authoritative sources.

Responsabilités

• Build original questions that require multi-step reasoning and synthesis.
• Establish accurate answers using primary sources with clear citations.
• Document methodology and reasoning; revise based on expert review.
• Deliver QA packages on a per-task basis with evidence and defensible reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Build questions requiring multiple reasoning steps or synthesis rather than a single lookup.


• Establish an accurate answer through primary or authoritative references and clear citations.


• Test the question against AI systems and adjust its difficulty without adding ambiguity.


• Document methodology and reasoning, then revise in response to expert review.

Profile

A completed PhD, current doctoral candidacy or equivalent experience as a specialist researcher or professor is preferred. Bring substantial field expertise, a scholarly research record and familiarity with primary literature. You should verify claims across authoritative sources, write precisely and explain a chain of reasoning. Prior AI evaluation is helpful but optional.

Deliverables and pay

Each accepted output is a question-and-answer package with evidence and a defensible reasoning trail. Task fees, acceptance criteria and any minimum weekly submission requirement will be agreed before work; no hourly conversion applies. IXO will agree the scope, schedule and review criteria before work begins.

Pay is Per completed task; fee agreed before work in USD. Work is remote.
