Jobgether is seeking a Senior .NET Developer (Fintech) based in France for a fully remote backend role. You will build scalable microservices for payment processing and financial operations, with an emphasis on reliability, performance, and secure cloud-native design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development with C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience designing and developing microservices architectures.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure, Docker and AKS.
• Practical experience with SQL Server, MongoDB and Cosmos DB.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools or agents.
• Ability to validate all code, including AI-generated code.
• Strong focus on clean, maintainable code and automated tests.
• Ownership, accountability, and reliable technical delivery.
• Clear and open communication when addressing challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services for payment processing and back-office ops.
• Design resilient integrations and asynchronous workflows (idempotency, outbox/inbox, sagas).
• Build microservices to meet latency targets and SLAs/SLOs.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and operational practices for reliability.
• Leverage AI-powered tools in the delivery process and review AI-generated code.
• Write clean code and automated tests; participate in code reviews.
• Maintain up-to-date technical specs and share best practices with the team.
• Take ownership of deliverables and proactively address defects.
