IXO is seeking a US-based real estate private-equity associate for a paid remote transaction-modeling assignment. You will develop an independent financial model from deal evidence and translate the information into calculations, determining workbook structure without a template.

The role also includes peer reviews of two anonymized models, scoring, and writing a concise rationale. Expect about 20–25 hours over 1.5–2 weeks, paid at $85–$105 per hour.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of total experience, with around two years in investment banking followed by one to two years in private equity.
• Banking experience must be in real estate or industrials.
• Currently hold or recently held an associate position at a real-estate-focused mid-market or upper-mid-market PE fund.

• Build a working financial model from the synthetic transaction documents with active formulas and source references.
• Submit an editable Excel workbook with assumptions clearly stated.
