Job summary

Jobgether SRL, partnering with a France-based opportunity, seeks a Medical Insurance Credentialing Specialist to manage provider enrollment, credentialing, and billing in a remote healthcare setting. You will coordinate with payers, providers, and internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and timely reimbursements.

Responsibilities include applying for credentialing, renewing enrollments, submitting claims via EHR systems, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA and CMS.

Qualifications

• HSD or equivalent; an associate/bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 2 years in medical credentialing or billing with multiple payers.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care processes.
• Familiarity with CAQH ProView, NPPES, PECOS, and payer portals.
• CPB/CPC certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to HIPAA/CMS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of provider credentialing, enrollment, and claims management.
• Prepare and submit credentialing applications for new providers across carriers.
• Manage provider re-credentialing within timelines to prevent lapses.
• Review, prepare, and submit medical insurance claims using EHR and billing systems.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and coverage before submitting claims.
• Monitor claim status, manage denials and adjustments, and coordinate corrections.
• Post insurance payments and reconcile billing records.
• Audit credentialing files and prepare management reports on progress and compliance.
• Identify payer issues and suggest process improvements for better reimbursement.
