Job summary

WeMaintain is looking for a Lead Analytics Engineer to own the data platform across Europe, reporting to the CTO and Global Head of Operations. This is a hands-on role for a data professional responsible for modeling, ingestion, and trusted KPIs for a 350+ employee, four-country operation.

You will work with dbt on BigQuery and Looker, balance cost with performance, and extend the platform with UDFs and AI tooling.

Qualifications

• Fluent in SQL, data lakes, transformation and ETL.
• Experience owning a data platform end-to-end.
• Comfortable working fully remote across four countries.

Responsibilities

• Bring new data into the lake continuously.
• Own the modeling layer with dbt on BigQuery.
• Define KPIs and ensure trust in numbers used by leadership.
• Maintain fast, affordable platform and cost control.
• Extend the platform with UDFs, LLMs, and integrations.
• Raise standards and enforce governance across the team.
• Collaborate with CTO and Global Head of Operations across four countries.
