Job summary

ConexusDX Part of the Recolution Group in Paris, France, seeks a hands-on Lead Data Architect on a freelance basis to design and build a new data platform for website analytics and consumer engagement. The role combines data engineering, modelling and solution architecture with AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.

You will lead a small delivery team, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure data quality, governance and scalable operations across sources such as GA4, SEO tools

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, modelling or a similar technical data role.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, dbt, SQL and Python.
• Experience with Apache Airflow, data pipelines, ETL/ELT and data integration.
• Experience designing and delivering a data platform or data mart end to end.
• Knowledge of historised data modelling, semantic layers and data governance.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, automated testing and AI-assisted development.
• Ability to design and justify technical architecture while remaining hands-on with development.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and experience working in Agile environments.

Lead Data Architect

Location: Paris, France - Hybrid
Contract: Freelance until 31 December 2026, with potential extension
Start: ASAP

We are looking for a hands-on Lead Data Engineer to design and build a new data platform supporting website analytics and consumer engagement within a global consumer healthcare organisation.

This is a technically focused role combining data engineering, modelling and solution architecture, with the opportunity to use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery. You will work closely with business stakeholders and a small delivery team to turn multiple data sources into a reliable, automated and well-governed data product.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines, models and semantic layers using Databricks and dbt.

• Integrate website and consumer engagement data from sources including GA4, SEO tools and server logs.

• Develop ETL/ELT processes, transformations and orchestration using Python, SQL and Apache Airflow.

• Define and document the target architecture, data models and integration approach.
