Job summary

WeMaintain is seeking a Lead Analytics Engineer to partner with the CTO on data strategy and with the Global Head of Operations to drive a 350-person, four-country operation.

This role is fully remote across Europe, spanning the UK, France, Singapore and Hong Kong. You will own data ingestion, dbt modeling on BigQuery, KPI definitions, and scalable analytics with Looker, influencing how the business measures success.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience owning data platforms end-to-end.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with dbt, BigQuery and Looker is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ingest data into the lake from multiple sources across four countries.
• Define and evolve the data modeling layer and analytics stack (dbt on BigQuery, Looker).
• Define operational KPIs with business teams and ensure reliable measurements.
• Set data governance standards and push back on non-compliant data practices.
• Extend the platform with new capabilities (UDFs, AI tooling, etc.).
• Ensure cost control and performance of the data platform.
• Collaborate with CTO, Global Head of Operations and product teams.
