IXO is seeking a remote QA auditor to audit Hindi transcripts used in India speech data. You will compare human or AI transcripts to the audio, apply error categories, and provide clear pass/fail rationales with priority on critical defects.

Responsibilities include checking word boundaries, adjusting timing, and splitting or merging segments. Prior transcription or QA experience is valuable; fluent English is required for rulebooks and explanations.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Hindi as used in India.
• Five years residence in a region where that variety is dominant.
• Strong English reading and writing for rulebooks and explanations.

Responsabilités

• Compare speech with transcripts and apply error categories.
• Assign pass/fail with clear English rationales, prioritizing critical defects.
• Check word boundaries against audio at start/end of segments.
• Correct timing, split/merge segments, insert or remove segments as needed.
• Distinguish acoustic uncertainty from annotation errors using rules.
