ixolabs.ai is seeking contributors to create human-checked transcription and structural annotations for Gujarati PDF pages. The role focuses on exact script transcription across complex layouts, tables, and mixed scripts, with an emphasis on character-level accuracy and taxonomy compliance.

Deliverables include a complete region map, reading order, and page metadata. This is a remote opportunity with pay at $17.68 per hour. Prior transcription or AI data experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in Gujarati with script proficiency.
• Experience in transcription, translation, editing or AI data work.
• Must apply taxonomy consistently and ensure character-level accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Inspect the supplied page for language, legibility, content relevance and privacy; flag unsuitable material.
• Bound meaningful regions (headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, figures, captions, formulas, questions and answers).
• Assign reading order and position across columns; link regions to parent figures or tables.
• Transcribe text faithfully and flag unreadable passages; do not guess.
• Record page metadata including language and special flags.
