IXO Labs is seeking a detail-focused freelancer to create a faithful, human-authored transcription of Bengali PDF pages, including difficult layouts, handwriting, and mixed scripts. You will bound regions, assign reading order, and ensure no guesswork.

Remote work with hourly pay of $17.68 USD. You will perform taxonomy, accuracy checks, and participate in a two-person review process to ensure quality before delivery.

Qualifications

• Bengali transcription with script fidelity and accuracy.
• Ability to mark all regions and reading order precisely.
• Experience with transcription/editing or AI data work is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Inspect the supplied page for language, legibility, content, and privacy concerns.
• Bound every meaningful region including headings, paragraphs, tables, and figures.
• Assign component types and reading order across columns and pages.
• Link regions to corresponding figures or tables.
• Transcribe faithfully and flag unreadable passages rather than guessing.
• Record page metadata, language, and flags for handwriting or tables.
• Perform a second expert check on each completed page.
