Job summary

Alan where we are building the new standard in prevention insurance is looking for a software engineer. You will work across the stack to ship robust backend services and AI-enabled features, collaborating with product teams, health professionals, and operations.

You will contribute to scalable, secure systems in a fast-paced environment. You should have 3+ years in software engineering, strong backend fundamentals, and familiarity with LLM APIs or agent frameworks is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software engineering with solid backend fundamentals.
• Platform-leaning or product-leaning experience welcomed; depends on team.
• Experience with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, evals or MCP is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own problems end to end, from design to production, with architecture input.
• Collaborate with users, product teams, and ops to deliver reliable features.
• Own reliability, cost, and security in production.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to the engineering culture.
