Ryder Supply Chain Solutions seeks a Manager Quality II to oversee day‑to‑day administration of the Quality Management System for high complexity accounts. You will lead continuous improvement efforts, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive non‑conformity data analysis while coordinating with operations and customers.

The role requires deep experience in quality management, process improvement and strong leadership to influence organizational objectives. 1–10% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years related work experience.

Summary

The Manager Quality II is responsible for the day‑to‑day administration of the Quality Management System on account(s) of higher complexity including adherence to company and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead continuous improvement activities as needed.
• Provide regular and proactive communication to customers and Ryder Management.
• Design, implement, monitor and maintain the Quality Management System including documentation and records based on internal and external standards/regulations.
• Coordinate and lead continuous improvement activities using fundamentals of Lean and Six Sigma as needed.
• Support regulatory compliance and certification requirements.
• Establish agenda and frequency, and lead regular Management Review meetings.
• Perform all functions related to Quality Assurance for a start‑up or expansion.
• Engage the operations team and the customer to ensure achievement of business objectives.
• Design, implement and monitor the system for the effective collection, analysis and presentation of non‑conformity data.
• Design the reports to review effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining Customer Satisfaction Management and Scope Management processes.
• Identify location training needs for Quality Assurance topics, develop training materials and deliver to identified employees.
• Independently perform assignments with instruction limited to results expected.
• Determine and develop approaches to solutions.
• Exert influence on the overall objectives and long‑range goals of the organization.
• Manage Diversity and Inclusion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or a minimum of 8 years related work experience.

Experience:

• 9 years or more in Operations Management.
• 7 years or more in Quality Management/Process Improvement.
• 7 years or more in Process Mapping, Standard Operating Procedures documentation and project management (preferred).

Knowledge & Licenses

• Proficiency required in MS Office; advanced level.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MS Project, Internal Audit/Corrective Action Systems Software (e.g., JKT); advanced level; preferred.
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (1 year; preferred).
• ISO 9001 certification required if applicable to account (1 year; required).
• ASQ’s Certified Quality Auditor (1 year; preferred).
