Mirakl in Paris or Bordeaux is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to lead AI system design, development, and adoption within a strategic business domain. You will combine deep AI engineering with product insight to identify opportunities, define roadmaps, and deliver measurable outcomes.

You will drive architecture decisions, ensure scalability and reliability, mentor engineers, and promote technical excellence across teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Software Engineering, ML Engineering, or Applied AI.
• Strong experience with LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, evaluation, and production systems.
• Ability to influence Product and Business decisions.
• Proven leadership on complex cross-functional initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Own Tech Strategy for your domain and define the agent product roadmap.
• Lead AI system development: design, build, and scale production-grade AI systems.
• Drive adoption and measure business impact of AI initiatives.
• Establish technical excellence: promote evaluation, testing, guardrails, and observability.
• Grow AI capability by mentoring engineers and sharing reusable components.
