Job summary

EggAI is seeking an accountable architecture lead to own the design of a shared AI platform for clients. You will define the architecture for the AI Control Plane and AI Runtime, align with client standards, and secure approvals with risk governance.

You will mentor platform engineers and drive production readiness across delivery teams. You will record decisions with ADRs and ensure auditability, resilience and policy controls are enforceable, designing for fail-safe operations and durable

Qualifications

• Accountable solution/platform architect with production experience.
• Cloud platforms in regulated environments with governance workflows.
• Deep knowledge of networking, identity, secrets, Kubernetes and managed services (Azure preferred).
• Hands-on with API gateways, OAuth/OIDC, and policy as code.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, GitOps and software supply-chain controls.
• Ability to produce audit evidence and enforce durable, deny-by-default controls.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture of AI Control Plane and AI Runtime components.
• Define interfaces and contracts; decide enforcement points across gateway, control plane, runtime, and client services.
• Write ADRs and record deviations for client decisions.
• Lead design reviews across platform services; ensure alignment with architecture governance.
• Define acceptance criteria and evidence for interfaces and infrastructure contracts.
• Ensure design principles are upheld through build, with auditable, independent evidence.
