Job summary

Neev in Paris is seeking an experienced AI Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic AI/ML initiatives within a banking environment. You will manage end-to-end programs, coordinate cross-functional teams, and align deployments with the bank’s digital transformation goals.

You will drive governance, budgeting, risk management, data readiness, model development, testing, and production monitoring while engaging business stakeholders and regulators as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project/program management experience with AI/ML initiatives.
• Experience delivering technology projects within Banking or Financial Services.
• Knowledge of AI platforms and cloud environments (Azure AI, AWS AI/ML, Vertex AI, OpenAI).
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Understanding of data governance, model risk management, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of AI/ML projects across banking functions such as Risk, Compliance, Operations, Customer Service, Fraud Detection, and Lending.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, data scientists, architects, and engineering teams to define project scope, objectives, and success metrics.
• Drive project governance, resource planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Manage AI solution lifecycle including use-case identification, data readiness, model development, testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
• Track project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables while ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure alignment with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Coordinate with data governance, security, compliance, and regulatory teams to ensure AI solutions meet banking regulations and internal policies.
• Monitor project KPIs and report progress to senior leadership and steering committees.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party AI technology partners where applicable.
• Support change management, user adoption, and training initiatives for AI solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of project/program management experience, with at least 3 years managing AI/ML or advanced analytics initiatives.
• Strong understanding of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, NLP, Predictive Analytics, and Data Science concepts.
• Experience delivering technology projects within Banking or Financial Services organizations.
• Knowledge of AI platforms and cloud environments such as Azure AI, AWS AI/ML, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI, Databricks, or similar.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar.
• Understanding of data governance, model risk management, privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or SAFe certification.
• Experience managing Generative AI initiatives involving LLMs, Chatbots, Copilots, Knowledge Management, or Intelligent Automation.
• Exposure to Banking domains such as Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Risk Management, AML, KYC, Fraud Detection, or Treasury Operations.
• Familiarity with Responsible AI, Model Governance, and AI Risk Management frameworks.
