Job summary

Moody’s is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of secure, scalable agentic AI capabilities powering the Insurance Life platform. You will work hands-on with the AXIS Cloud AI orchestration layer, guiding tool selection, subagent patterns, and governance via MCP-based registries in collaboration with the architecture team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related field or equivalent experience.
Proven track record leading multi-team software initiatives and hands-on design and delivery.
Experience building enterprise AI applications on large language models and agentic architectures.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy, architecture, development, and delivery of secure, scalable agentic AI capabilities.
Co-define and drive AXIS Cloud AI orchestration layer architecture and roadmap.
Hands-on contribution to AI orchestration platform while guiding the team.
Drive key technical decisions and provide pragmatic engineering guidance.
Prototype agentic AI patterns and advance concepts to production.
Prioritize end-to-end customer value and scalable orchestration.
