Job summary

Wandercraft in Paris offers a 6-month internship in the Perception and Navigation team to advance object detection, pose estimation, and SLAM for humanoid robotics. You will prototype new methods and test on real robots and simulators in collaboration with embedded software, electronics, and mechanics teams.

Applicants should be in the final year of a Master’s or Engineering degree, with Python/C++ experience, and a passion for robotics research and development.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Engineering degree program (final year).
• Hands-on robotics or computer vision experience is valued.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ and teamwork in a codebase.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms for object detection, pose estimation, and SLAM.
• Prototype and test approaches on real robots and simulators.
• Collaborate with embedded software, electronics and mechanics teams to improve overall performance.
• Contribute to automated testing and verification pipelines.
