Job summary

Wandercraft in Paris seeks a skilled robotics control engineer to develop whole-body control algorithms for exoskeletons and humanoid robots, from formulation to deployment on real hardware.

You will work on locomotion, trajectory optimization, model dynamics and sensor data integration, with real-time execution on robots, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on robotics experience in control, motion generation or trajectory optimization.
• Final year Master’s or engineering degree in Robotics, Controls or related field.
• Proficient in C++/Python with sensor data and dynamics understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develop whole-body control algorithms for floating-base robots.
• Design control strategies using MPC and NMPC.
• Develop online/offline trajectory optimization and motion generation.
• Test, debug and validate algorithms on exoskeletons and humanoid robots.
• Write efficient, maintainable software in C++ and Python.
