Job summary

Wandercraft in Paris is seeking a student or recent master’s graduate to help develop control algorithms for our exoskeleton. You will join the Controls, Architecture, Products, Simulation engineering team of about 7 engineers within a ~150-person company.

You will work on modeling, optimized trajectory generation, and control strategy development to empower users with mobility and autonomy.

Qualifications

• Final year of a master’s degree or grande école d’ingénieur.e in applied mathematics, computer science, controls, robotics or equivalent.
• Beginners accepted
• Autonomous and proactive—identifies priorities and proposes new directions when relevant
• Rigorous—comfortable with kinematics and dynamics, clear reporting
• Adaptable—handles frequent software changes and shifting priorities

Responsibilities

• Contribute to expanding the exoskeleton capabilities and range of motions with teammates
• Validate control architectures in a simulation
• Test control architectures experimentally with the exoskeleton and adapt to issues
• Participate in the team’s tests on the exoskeleton
