Job summary

Fortinet, a cybersecurity pioneer, is seeking a Manager, Business Development for France, based in Paris. You will lead the French BD team, identify and nurture opportunities, and align with the French sales teams to drive new business in a high growth market.

Reporting to the EMEA BD Director, you will coach BDRs, analyze performance, and manage programs to exceed targets. This office-based role combines leadership with hands-on deal development in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Team Lead or management experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrable track record of achievement and over‑achievement in a business development or inside‑sales role.
• IT and preferably Network & Cybersecurity background.
• Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to lead positively and be inclusive.

Responsibilities

• Full management responsibility for a team of Business Development Representatives, providing support and coaching in all areas of the BDR role, including systems, solutions and performance related factors.
• Undertake regular performance reviews and provide insight on how performance can be improved, ensuring adherence to company policy and taking necessary measures where appropriate.
• Focus on ensuring that the Business Development team hits its targets and key performance indicators, using data to identify trends and make decisions.
• Lead projects as guided and defined by the Business Development Director, and make own recommendations.
• Engage with internal customers and business partners, and prepare accurate reporting and analysis.
• Lead by example.
