Euronext in Paris is seeking an Operational Excellence Apprentice within the Technology & Operations team to drive process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

You will collaborate with the IT Manager and cross‑functional teams, apply Lean and OKRs, monitor KPIs, and explore AI opportunities to automate tasks and generate insights. This role offers hands‑on training in trading systems and exposure to capital markets infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proactive mindset with interest in operational excellence and process improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with international teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to assess processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Ability to facilitate training sessions and workshops.
• Interest in AI, including LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, token optimisation and emerging AI technologies.
• Eagerness to learn, experiment and stay up to date with the latest developments.
• Interest in computer science; Python or C++ is a plus (no prior software development required).
• Fluent in French and English.
• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree programme (engineering, business, computer science or related field).

Responsabilités

• Collaborating with IT Manager to understand team objectives and operational challenges.
• Leading and facilitating process improvement projects using Lean methodologies and OKRs to drive efficiency.
• Engaging with various teams to identify inefficiencies, gather feedback and propose actionable solutions.
• Developing and implementing operational excellence strategies aligned with team goals and company vision.
• Monitoring KPIs to track initiative effectiveness and adjust strategies.
• Leveraging AI to identify improvement opportunities, automate repetitive tasks, and generate insights from data.
• Facilitating training sessions and workshops for team members on operational excellence and tool utilisation.
