Euronext is seeking an AI Engineering Intern for its Technology & Operations team in Paris. You will design prompts and AI skills, develop AI-generated reports, and write clear documentation for models and workflows.

You will contribute to clean, testable code, implement unit tests, and ensure adherence to AI development standards. Strong Python and API experience are required, with a passion for generative AI.

Qualifications

• Strong Python programming foundations and software development basics.

Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for a AI Engineering Intern to join the Technology & Operations team. The position will be based in Paris. You will report to the IT Delivery Manager.

You will primarily be responsible for:

• Designing and developing prompts and skills for AI solutions
• Creating and developing AI-generated reports
• Producing clean, testable and well-documented code
• Writing clear documentation for models, prompts and skills
• Actively contributing to continuous improvement of code and models
• Implementing unit tests and using quality assurance tools
• Adhering to development standards and best practices in AI (ethics, bias, data security)
• Integrating AI solutions via APIs and microservices

Your profile:

• Final year student (Master's degree or engineering school)
• Technical background, ideally in computer science, AI or data
• Proficient in Python with strong foundations in software development
• Keen interest in generative AI, large language models (LLMs) and agent architectures
• Experience with Transformers models, retrieval augmented generation (RAG) or agent orchestration is a plus
• Experience in prompt engineering, prompt optimisation or evaluation of LLM-based systems is a plus
• Skills in API and web interface development (Flask, FastAPI or equivalent)
• Comfortable with Linux, Git and modern development environments
• Curious, autonomous and proactive
• Ability to explain and document your work clearly
• Good written and spoken English
