Euronext in Paris is seeking an Operational Excellency Apprentice to join the Technology & Operations team, starting as soon as possible. You will work under the Dev IT Manager - Trading system and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

You will apply Lean methodologies and OKRs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor KPIs, and explore AI-enabled solutions to streamline operations while gaining hands-on experience in capital markets technology.

Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for an Operational Excellency Apprentice to join the Technology & Operations team. The position will be based in Paris, and start as soon as possible. You will report to the Dev IT Manager - Trading system.

You Will Primarily Be Responsible For

• Collaborating closely with the IT Manager to understand team objectives and operational challenges
• Leading and facilitating process improvement projects using Lean methodologies and OKRs to drive efficiency, including regular follow-up meetings to ensure accountability
• Engaging with various teams to identify inefficiencies, gather feedback and propose actionable solutions
• Developing and implementing operational excellence strategies that align with team goals and company vision
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of initiatives and adjusting strategies as needed
• Leveraging AI to identify operational improvement opportunities, automate repetitive tasks, generate actionable insights from data and support data-driven decision-making
• Facilitating training sessions and workshops for team members on operational excellence and tool utilisation

Your Profile

• Proactive mindset with a keen interest in operational excellence and process improvement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with international teams and stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills to assess processes and identify areas for improvement
• Ability to facilitate training sessions and workshops
• Interest in artificial intelligence, including large language models, AI agents, prompt engineering, token optimisation and emerging AI technologies
• Eagerness to learn, experiment and stay up to date with the latest developments
• Interest in computer science and Python or C++ is a plus (prior software development experience not required)
• Fluent in French and English
• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree programme (engineering, business, computer science or related field)
