Euronext in Paris is offering an AI Engineering Intern position within the Technology & Operations team. You will design prompts, build AI features, and develop clean code while documenting models and APIs.

The role suits a final-year Master’s student or engineering school candidate with Python, AI focus, and a passion for LLMs and agent architectures. Fluency in English is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python with strong foundations in software development.
• Technical background in computer science, AI or data.
• Interest in generative AI, LLMs and agent architectures.
• Experience with Transformers models, retrieval augmented generation (RAG) or agent orchestration is a plus.
• Experience in prompt engineering, prompt optimisation or evaluation of LLM-based systems is a plus.
• Skills in API and web interface development (Flask, FastAPI or equivalent).
• Comfortable with Linux, Git and modern development environments.
• Good written and spoken English.

Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for a AI Engineering Intern to join the Technology & Operations team. The position will be based in Paris. You will report to the IT Delivery Manager.

You Will Primarily Be Responsible For

• Designing and developing prompts and skills for AI solutions
• Creating and developing AI-generated reports
• Producing clean, testable and well-documented code
• Writing clear documentation for models, prompts and skills
• Actively contributing to continuous improvement of code and models
• Implementing unit tests and using quality assurance tools
• Adhering to development standards and best practices in AI (ethics, bias, data security)
• Integrating AI solutions via APIs and microservices

Your Profile

• Final year student (Master’s degree or engineering school)
• Technical background, ideally in computer science, AI or data
• Proficient in Python with strong foundations in software development
• Keen interest in generative AI, large language models (LLMs) and agent architectures
• Experience with Transformers models, retrieval augmented generation (RAG) or agent orchestration is a plus
• Experience in prompt engineering, prompt optimisation or evaluation of LLM-based systems is a plus
• Skills in API and web interface development (Flask, FastAPI or equivalent)
• Comfortable with Linux, Git and modern development environments
