Reboot Monkey in Dijon, France is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for contract/freelance work on-site at premier data center facilities. You will install, decommission, migrate hardware, perform structured cabling, rack servers, and coordinate with NOC and client teams.

Two-plus years in data center or IT infrastructure, solid cabling (Cat5e/6/6a, fiber), and hands-on with Dell/HP/Supermicro servers. English required; on-site work with transport is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills including Cat5e/6/6a and fiber.
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Proficient in professional English communication.

Responsabilités

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Rack, stack, and label servers.
• Create and maintain cross-connects and patch panels.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
