Reboot Monkey is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for on-site, freelance/contract work in Saint-Denis, France. You will perform hardware installations, decommissions, migrations, and structured cabling across data center facilities.

The role requires 2+ years in data center or IT infrastructure, strong cabling and server hardware experience, and English communication. Certifications such as CDCP/CDCS or CCNA/Network+ are preferred, along with DCIM and ticketing familiarity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a) and fiber optics.
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments.
• Professional English communication.

Responsabilités

• Install, decommission, and migrate hardware.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber).
• Rack, stack, and label servers.
• Execute cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
