Reboot Monkey seeks a Data Center Technician for on-site, contract work in Nice, France. You will handle hardware installations, cabling, racking, migrations, and cross-connects within premier data center facilities.

The role requires 2+ years in data center environments, strong Cat5e/6/6a and fiber skills, experience with Dell/HP/Supermicro hardware, and proficient English communication. Lift 50 lbs, operate on-site with own transport, and be ready for remote/NOC coordination.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a; fiber).
• Professional English communication.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on-site.
• Own transportation to Nice, France.

Responsabilités

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Rack, stack, and label servers.
• Conduct cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
