Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver, CO, is seeking a Telemetry Technician for full-time night shifts (6PM–6:30AM) in the Non-invasive Cardiology unit. You will monitor patient cardiac rhythms, interpret ECG data, and support the RN with telemetry duties.

This role requires Basic Rhythm Certification, BLS-HCP within 60 days, and the ability to document ECG data accurately. We offer shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Basic Rhythm Certification required within 90 days of hire
• Must pass a basic dysrhythmia test prior to completion of orientation
• BLS-HCP Certification required within 60 days of hire or on hire

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms continuously and ensure accurate ECG readings.
• Interpret ECG data and report changes to RN promptly.
• Prepare, maintain, and clean telemetry equipment and leads.
• Document ECG data in patient records for multidisciplinary review.
• Track patient locations and ensure ECG rhythm visibility after transport.
• Perform crash cart checks at shift start to ensure availability and functionality.
• Provide continuity of care by sharing ECG history with incoming staff.
• Assist in training new associates on telemetry monitoring.
• Maintain admission/discharge logbooks for patient care continuity.
• Maintain portable telemetry equipment logs.
