Rolling Hills Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our behavioral health team for full-time night shifts. The RN provides direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team, performs medical management, and ensures safety and crisis management for patients.

The role includes training and educating staff, documenting care in the master treatment plan, and collaborating with the treatment team to maintain a therapeutic milieu.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Associates degree in nursing required, Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee required.
• Nursing experience in the behavioral health field preferred.
• One year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults and adolescents preferred.
• CPR certification (training provided)
• Handle with Care (HWC) certification (training provided)

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.
• Performs medical management and assessment of patients; ensures environmental safety and crisis management.
• Directs implementation of behavior management programs and ensures carry-through of tasks.
• Assigns patient care tasks to subordinates and monitors their duties.
• Provides training and education to staff, patients, families; documents care in the master treatment plan.
• Works with the treatment team to maintain a consistently therapeutic milieu.
