Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution; BSN to be obtained within four years of hire/promotion.

Responsibilities

• Lead change on the unit and supervise scheduling to ensure appropriate staffing and coverage.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using nursing process and collaboration with the health team.
• Foster professionalism and staff engagement; provide coaching and support to nursing staff.
• Oversee competency development, annual reviews, and adherence to policies and regulatory standards.
• Ensure staffing and skill mix align with census and acuity needs, including hiring decisions and orientation.
