UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech III to join the care team. You will support RNs by observing patients, reporting changes, and assisting with routine tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role requires strong communication, clinical skills, and the ability to work on a night shift with varied responsibilities across units, including telemetry and ED settings. A signing bonus may be available after interview.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide clear, timely communication to the RN about patient observations.
• Monitor high-risk patients as assigned.
• Assist in daily living activities and patient care tasks.
• Assist in moving, lifting and transporting patients safely.
• Take and record vital signs and patient data.
• Perform EKGs, Point of Care tests, and specimen collection.
• Assist with treatments and equipment setup as directed.
